Next up in the window is a collaborative piece between two visual artists...
Jen G. Pywell from The Ugly Art Room interviews Chris about his project.
Chris describing his project titled: Potential Timeline of Human Attempts at Understanding.
The line-up for Window on Art 2016 is in. Whereas last year was about a diversity in mediums, this year is about content & message… and it looks great. After jurying the field was reduced to a select 5 submissions allowing a greater amount of time for each artist(s) to make a statement, take greater risks, and hold a more meaningful conversation with the viewing public.
Info about each artist's plans will be posted soon. In the meantime, get it on your calendar, you won't want to miss this!
Thanks to Julia Bradshaw for putting together this great video of the project!
Window on Art from Julia Bradshaw on Vimeo. Time lapse of the painting Jake did for Window on Art. The video starts in the window and ends in his studio where a good number of additional sessions were needed to complete this piece.

(ok, it took 4 businesses combined to get enough wall space for Window on Art but they're all connected!) |
